ANH targets Q1 2027 for a new exploration acreage offer

At the Oil, Gas and Energy Summit in Cartagena, ANH president Ernesto Forero said Colombia aims to have a new exploration acreage offer ready in Q1 2027, Reuters reported. Industry groups estimate reactivation could require about US$10 billion.

What it means

After 2022–2026 without new exploration contracts, Q1 2027 becomes the calendar investors will underwrite against.
